Founded by Swiss watchmaker Peter Haas back in 1938, Jaguar has its roots in a country with proud watchmaking traditions. Haas had a deep fascination for the South American big cat, the jaguar, so he chose to name his watchmaking business after it. Haas saw the jaguar as the perfect combination of strength and elegance and decided to design his watches with these qualities in mind. Jaguar manages to unite functionality with a luxurious and stylish design, with a focus on precision down to the Swiss details in a Swiss masterpiece.
